Please read the below terms and conditions carefully and ensure you agree before placing your order.
Hanola Bakery will not copy exactly a cake that has been designed by another company; we can incorporate aspects of the cake that you like and use those to design a unique cake for you.
Our cakes are made in a kitchen that handles nuts and so our cakes may contain traces of nuts
Any cake sketch that is completed for you will remain the property of Hanola bakery; no copies can be made and taken with you.
All our cakes are handmade and so there will be slight variations between the cakes selected from our gallery and your cake.
Wedding cakes: All orders should be finalised at least 2 months to your event; in exceptional cases we might be able to accommodate you in shorter timescales but an express fee may apply.
Celebration Cakes: All orders should be finalised at least 2 weeks your event; in exceptional cases we might be able to accommodate you in shorter timescales but an express fee may apply.
Dessert Tables: All orders should ideally be finalised at least 1 month to your event; in exceptional cases we might be able to accommodate you in shorter timescales but an express fee may apply.
Cupcakes: All orders should ideally be finalised at least 1 week to your event; in exceptional cases we might be able to accommodate you in shorter timescales but an express fee may apply.
Wedding orders: For your order to be accepted and confirmed a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of the order is required; once the payment has been received we will confirm that your order has been accepted. The balance will be due 2 weeks (weddings and dessert tables) or 7 days to the event date. Failure to make the payment may lead to your order being cancelled.
For dessert tables a deposit of £150 or 30% of your table cost is required to cover any damage to the jars or other returnable items on the table. This amount is fully refundable once these items have been returned to us and we have confirmed that there is no damage.

DELIVERY AND SET UP
Delivery costs are calculated based on miles and time; alternatively you can collect your cake from our kitchen at a prearranged date and time. We will not be responsible for any damage to the cake after it has been delivered to you or collected. Additional charges will occur should you require us to come back and fix the cake.
It is the responsibility of the client to provide a table, table linen, cake knife and cake stand as required at the venue unless otherwise agreed beforehand. Please be advised that for order where set up at the venue is required (large tiered cakes and dessert tables) we will require access to the venue at least 1 hour before the event start time.
If your order is cancelled less than a week to the event date Hanola Bakery reserves the right to retain your non-refundable deposit. If your event is moved to another day we will do our best to accommodate your new event details. Should we be unable to we will treat this like a cancellation.
We reserve the right the right to reject any orders. Should we have to cancel your order due to circumstances beyond our control such as ill health; we will notify you ASAP and refund all money that had been paid.
